Denk, Diane Elva (3 OCT 1970)

Marriage vows were exchanged on October 3, 1970, between Miss Diane Elva Denk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Denk, 717 E. 5th St., Marshfield, Wisconsin, and Mr. Michael Joseph McNeely, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond McNeely, Route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).

The 12:30 ceremony was performed by Rev. Norbert E. King at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield.

Kathy McNeely played the organ and soloist was Greg Kienzle.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a gown of white satin with an A-line empire waist and chapel length train. Her five tier elbow length veil was held by a face framing crystal headpiece and she carried a cascade bouquet of yellow and white roses and stephanotis.

Her maid of honor was Miss Linda Denk, Marshfield, and her bridesmaid was Miss Lana McNeely, Loyal. They wore A-line gowns of bronze linen with white and gold satin braid, and they wore headpieces of a bronze leaf design. They each carried baskets with a full arrangement of flowers and wheat.

The groom chose Patrick McNeely, Denver, Colorado, as his best man, and Merlin Denk, Marshfield, as his attendant.

Jeff McNeely and Arien Denk served as ushers.

A reception and supper followed at the Marwood Motor Inn.

The bride attended Marshfield Senior High and graduated in 1965. She was recently employed at the Wisconsin Gas Company, Marshfield.

The groom is a 1964 Loyal High School graduate and is engaged in farming.
