Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Porter, Glendale, Wisconsin announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Jean, to Gilbert Charles Rohde Jr. of Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin.

The bride to be is a senior at Eau Claire University and will be graduating in June in Elementary Education. Bonnie is a member of Delta Zeta sorority.

Her fiancé, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Charles Rohde Sr., graduated from Eau Claire University in June 1970 in Economics and Business. He is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, and has been named in “Who’s Who in American Colleges.” After the Christmas holidays he will leave for National Guard training and in September he plans to begin graduate studies at the University of Colorado in Management sciences.

An August wedding is being planned at the Emanuel United Methodist Church in Milwaukee.
