Harrellson, Gerald C. (9 FEB 1961 - 14 APR 2016)

Gerald C. Harrellson, age 55, of Dorchester, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester. Family and friends are welcome 9:00 AM until the time of service at the Dorchester Funeral Home.

Gerald was born on February 09, 1961, the son of Connie "Tom" and Gertrude (Anderson) Harrellson in Tomahawk, WI. He graduated from Colby High School in 1979. Gerald was united in marriage to Penny Napier on January 28, 1983 in Neillsville, WI.

Gerald loved life. He worked in the lumber industry for many years, and also worked for Wausau Window and Wall. He enjoyed fishing with his children. Gerald also liked to watch boxing on TV, gamble, and feed the wild birds. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his step-children.

Gerald is survived by his wife: Penny of Dorchester; his two sons: Jacob (girlfriend; Kayla Glaser) and Alexander, both of Dorchester; three step-daughters: Denise (Scott) Jenung of Fortson, GA, Danielle Calhoun of Monterey, IN, and Deanna Botello of Wisconsin and 11 step-grandchildren. He was excited on the arrival of his first grandchild coming this August. He is further survived by his sister: Pam Harrelson of Dorchester; two sisters-in-law: Terry (Dave) Koontz of Sussex, WI, and Lynn Klemetson of Colby, WI and nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his beloved dog, Abby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Tom and Gertrude, a step-son: Michael Calhoun, and a sister-in-law: Vivian Beran.
