West Shortville (23 Jan 1919)

Mrs. George Strubing and cousin, Clyde McPherson, spent Thursday afternoon with John Galbreath and family.

A small crowd gathered at the Amos Kegley home Wednesday night. All had a very enjoyable time.

Earl Conlin is here on a furlough visiting relatives and friends.

Ed. Hagie spent Sunday with Geo. Strubing and family.

Louis Olson and wife spent Sunday with Wm. Ottow.

Arthur Stevens returned home Sunday after a two weeks’ visit at Milton Junction.

Henry Cole and family spent Friday evening with Geo. Strubing and family.

Cleo and Cora Hagie went to Neillsville Saturday evening to spend a few days with Dr. Matheson and family.

Arthur Stevens is working for Harry Black again.

Eugene Hagie and wife, Mrs. McCarl and son, John, went to Neillsville Sunday afternoon to visit at the A. Matheson home.
