Goerg, Dolores M. (Hoffman) (6 DEC 1926 - 2 FEB 2013)

Dolores M. Goerg, age 86, of Country Gardens Assisted Living, Medford, passed away on Saturday, February 2 at Country Gardens Assisted Living, Medford, where she had resided for the past 3 months.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 6 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Medford.

Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 6.

Dolores was born on December 6, 1926 at Cudahy, WI, to Charles V. and Rose Marie (Deml) Hoffman.

She attended Cudahy elementary schools and was a graduate of Cudahy high school, then attended Taylor County Normal School, Medford.

Dolores was married on October 7, 1950, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, to Delmar “Del” Goerg. He preceded her in death June 18, 2010.

After her education, she taught elementary education at rural Taylor County elementary schools. She enjoyed being with family, reading and traveling throughout the country. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford.

Survivors include her children, Mary (Russell) Sanderson of Colorado Springs, CO, John (Marge) Goerg of Forest Lake, MN, David (Susan) Goerg of Little Canada, MN, Patricia (Ed) Doboszenski of Maple Grove, MN; 3 grandchildren, Sheena & Sierra Goerg of Little Canada, MN, Nicholas Doboszenski of Maple Grove, MN; a sister, Rose (Pete) Themar of Medford.

She is predeceased by her parents, Charles V. and Rose Marie (Deml) Hoffman; two brothers, Charles & George Hoffman.
