Krebsbach, Karen K. (Kroll) (16 JUN 1950 - 2 AUG 2010)

Karen K. Krebsbach, age 60, of 608 E. Urquhart Street, Medford, died Monday, August 2 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield where she had been a patient for the past 1 day.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, August 6 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford, with Rev. James Krueger officiating. Interment will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Pallbearers are Bethany, Steve & Rebekah Ludwig, Tyler, Heather & Evan Krebsbach, Natalie Lapacz, and Chris Anderson.

Visitation will be at the Hemer Funeral Home from 4-8 PM Thursday, Aug. 5 and also at church from 12:30 PM until time of services at 1:30 PM on Friday, Aug. 6.

Karen was born on June 16, 1950 at Shawano, WI, to Maurice E. and Hazel (Jensen) Kroll.

She attended Stoney Hill elementary school, Shawano County; was a 1969 graduate of Bonduel High School, Bonduel, WI; In 1971 she received an associate’s degree in clerk typist from Northcentral Technical College, Wausau.

Karen married Thomas Krebsbach on June 16, 1979 at Divine Savior Church, Shawano, and he survives.

After her education, she worked as a teacher’s aid for the Medford School District working with special needs children. Then she worked at the Medford Middle School as a librarian which she was presently employed. She enjoyed bowling, reading, Green Bay Packer games and flowers.

She is a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford; WEAC; Various bowling leagues where she also served as secretary of the couple’s league.

Karen is survived by her husband, Thomas Krebsbach of Medford; her mother, Hazel (Jensen) Kroll; siblings, Krista (Tim) Ludwig of Mayville, WI & Karla (Arthur) Klimpke of Medford.

She is predeceased by her father, Maurice E. Kroll.
