Opdyke, Floyd L. (1913? -1974)

Funeral services for Floyd L. Opdyke, 61, of Greenwood who died May 30, were held Saturday morning from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Leander Koopman officiated and burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Erwin Toburen, Louis Kebl, Jake Klein, Robert Scheuer, James Hasenhorl and Lawrence Dyrness. Thomas Zepaltas accompanied the St. Mary’s Choir on the organ.

Relatives from a distance who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Opdyke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hardrath and family, all of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hoffman and family of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Duane Branstitter of Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Updyke of Brownsville, Tx.; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Updyke of Spencer, Ia.; Robert Updyke and Mrs. Velma Messling of Prairie du Chien; Mrs. George Geick of Sauk City; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Schulka of Kewaskum; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schiller; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Newman and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Schiller and Mr. and Mrs. James Schiller, all of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Strey of Milwaukee; and friends from Marshfield, Colby and Riplinger.
