Janesville Settlement (13 Feb 1919)

Dr. Carl Baker was called out to see Mrs. Fred Kalkofen who was quite sick last Thursday. Her sister, Maude Pitts, came to help and was taken sick also, but they are both better at this writing.

Mrs. Chas. Bostwick spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Ed. Keefe.

Joe Buettner is at the Fred Drew farm this week helping with the timber work.

Mrs. F. Hatton spent Friday with Mrs. Dillenbeck helping cook for the sawyers.

R. Waseca was a Willard caller on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Marlik spent Sunday at the Loeffler and Buettner homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Keefe spent Saturday evening at F. Hatton’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Lou Dimler spent Sunday with friends south of Neillsville.

Anna and Sophia Waseca, Inez Clintsman and Mrs. Chas. Bostwick spent Sunday at C. Hatton’s.

Mrs. Kurth of Neillsville visited here with her sister, Mrs. F. Kalkofen, Sunday.

Stryker Flagg has been sawing wood for some of the farmers.

Mr. and Mrs. Willis Enhelder and Hugo Halle were callers at F. Hatton’s Sunday.

Fred Clintsman spent Sunday with his parents at Globe.

F. Puik spent Thursday evening with Joe Buettner.
