Perman, Margaret A. (11 AUG 1962)

Miss Margaret A. Perman, Menomonie, daughter of Mrs. Julia Perman of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Ed Maass, Greenwood, to Herbert N. Meisner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meisner, Bloomer, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 1962.

The young couple repeated their matrimonial vows in the presence of the Rev. Edward Hartung in St. Mary's Catholic Church here, after which the nuptial High Mass was celebrated. St. Mary's Girls' Choir sang for the Mass. The altar was decorated with pink gladioli.

The white full-length bridal gown of silk organza over taffeta had a long train caught in a large bow at the back and the dress was trimmed with re-embroidered Alencon lace appliques.

The elbow length veil flowed from a seed pearl crown. The bride entered the church carrying a bouquet of stephanotis with pale pink roses entwined with ivy.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Breunig, Chippewa Falls, were the best man and matron of honor, respectively, while Miss Kathleen Maas, Greenwood, was the bridesmaid and Joseph Jax, Menomonie, the groomsman.

Margaret Ann Speich was asked to be the flower girl and Jeffrey Breunig the ring bearer. Seating the wedding guests were William and Robert Nerbun, Ladysmith. Coming from out of town were Mrs. Jennie Ruzich and daughter from Pennsylvania, also guests from Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, St. Paul, Milwaukee, Bloomer, Madison, Ladysmith, Medford and Stanley.

Following the ceremony the wedding dinner was served in St. Mary's parish hall, with the reception being held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Maass. Later the newlyweds left on a Canadian honeymoon, and on their return will reside on rout 2, Wright Street, Delavan.

Mr. Meisner is an instructor at the Delavan-Darien High School. He received both his bachelor and master degrees at Stout State College, Menomonie, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.

Mrs. Meisner, who also received her bachelor and master degrees at Stout State College in the home economics department. She was affiliated with Delta Zeta Sorority.
