LaFrenier, Anne A. (7 AUG 1971)

Miss Anne Aldan LaFrenier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. LaFrenier, Minocqua, became the bride of Samuel Wellen Wuethrich, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Allen Wuethrich of Greenwood, during a nuptial service held Saturday, August 7, 1971 at 3:00 in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood.

The Rev. David E. Wenger officiated, and the bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Tom Zepaltas was the organist and Donna, Diane and Debbie Zepaltas sang.

White nylon organza over taffeta styled the wedding gown worn by Miss LaFrenier. Her gown had bishop sleeves, high neckline, and a softly gathered skirt. The Venice lace had tiny pink floral trim at the neckline, sleeves and down the tress front. With it she wore a cathedral length veil with floral trim. Her bouquet was a cascade of pink roses, stephanotis, baby's breath and ivy.

Attendants of the bride and groom included Miss Beverly LaFrenier, Minocqua as maid of honor, and John Johnson of Greenwood as best man. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Paul Puttmann, Eau Claire, Miss Karen La Voie, Park Falls, and Miss Linda Durch, Chippewa Falls; and groomsmen were Bob Rondor, Dallas Wuethrich and Darrel Brown, all of Greenwood.

Jon Haunschild and Jim Zepaltas did ushering duties at the church.

The bridal aides were seen in floor length Empire styled dresses of orchid chiffon accented by mock bolero of purple Venice lace, featuring ties of satin. Bishop sleeved and a demure scoop neckline complemented the Empire styling. Each carried a bouquet of purple asters, lavender daisies and aqua carnations.

After the ceremony a dinner was held at the church, with a reception and dancing at the Bali Hai Supper Club, Neillsville. After a wedding trip to San Francisco, Anaheim and La Vegas, the couple will reside at Greenwood.

Mrs. Wuethrich graduated in 1970 from Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire, and is an English teacher at the Greenwood High School.

The groom graduated in 1969 from Eau Claire Technical School and is presently employed at the John Wuethrich Creamery Co.
