Thomas Gustav Bergemann “Mr. Music,” 67, of Park Falls entered into heaven July 23, 2016, with his family by his side.

He was born August 14, 1948, in Marshfield to John and Martha (Erpenbach) Bergemann of Neillsville. He earned Eagle Scout Bronze level from Troop 43. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1967 and enlisted in the navy where he served on many ships, including the JFK Aircraft carrier and is an honorary plank member. He served in the Army Reserves in Wausau and transferred to the Great Lakes Naval Center to complete his 20 years of service. He worked in the medical field most of his life from helping at his father’s funeral home to driving ambulance and x-ray tech. He worked in a cardiac lab, did CAT scans, stress tests, and nuclear medicine. Some of the facilities he worked at include Wausau Hospital, Bay Area Medical Center of Marinette and Flambeau Hospital of Park Falls where he retired.

His favorite hobby involved music, collecting records and playing music for others. He enjoyed sharing his music with the residents of Park Manor and Pleasant View.

Tom is survived by his daughters: Jennifer, Sarah, and Nicole; grandchildren: Bastian, Nathaniel, Xavior, Ethen and Eli; siblings: John Bergemann (Luke, Dessa), Eileen (John Pike - Janelle), and Jean (Keith Short - Anna, Ebben); many great-nieces, and nephews and his Uncle Bill Erpenbach and family.

A celebration of Life is being held at The Frontier Inn in Springstead Sunday Sept. 25, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A dish to pass would be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, please consider the family’s needs. The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
