Schondelmeier, Sue Ann (8 OCT 1966)

Miss Sue Ann Schondelmeier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schondelmeier, Park Falls, and Roger Shattuck, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Shattuck, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were married at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 1966, by Rev. Myron Glick in the First Congregational Church in Park Falls. Mr. Schondelmeier presented his daughter in marriage.

Mrs. Joseph Heisler was the organist and Miss Charlotte Patterson the soloist for "The Wedding Benediction" and "The Lord's Prayer." Bouquets of white gladioli and yellow chrysanthemums decorated the church.

The floor length bridal gown of peau satin was styled with scoop neckline, an overlay of re-embroidered Alencon lace gracing a detachable train sweeping to chapel length secured at the waistline of the dome skirt.

Her pearl edged lace petalled queen's crown was trimmed with crystals and held her bouffant sheer illusion veil. Her colonial bouquet of white camellias and pink rosebuds was accented with short wide satin streamers.

Attending the bride were Miss Linda Jalling, Withee, the maid of honor, Miss Bonnie Hanns and Miss Gayle Rissue, Park Falls, the bridesmaids, and Debra Doberstein, Owen, the junior bridesmaid.

They were dressed alike in floor length emerald green satin skirted frocks having green and silver brocade bodices. They had matching accessories and carried bouquets of burnt orange roses and red and yellow fantasy flower with yellow streamers. Each had a floral headpiece with green net veils to match their bouquets.

Allan Ericksmoen of Carpenterville, Ill. was best man. Acting as groomsmen were Lynn Shattuck, Curtiss, and William Schondelmeier, Park Falls, and as ushers, Jim Ericksmoen, Withee, and Maynard Mitchell, Owen.

The wedding reception was held at the First Congregation Church parlors from 3 to 6 p.m. Present were area guests and others from Owen, Withee, Curtiss, Greenwood, Prentice, Chippewa Falls, Butternut, Winter, Wausau, Fifield, St. Croix Falls, Madison and Minneapolis, Minn., Moline, Ill., Marquette and Ishpeming, Michigan, and Carpentersville, Ill.
