Jackson, Leo (Promoted to Captain – 20 MAR 1919)
Mrs. Jackson received a letter from her son, Leo Jackson, stating that he had
been promoted to a captaincy and that he would soon be on his way home as he had
been in Belgium for two weeks and expected soon to be sent across. The letter
was written on March 20th, so that no doubt Capt. Jackson will soon be home. His
friends here will rejoice at his well-earned promotion.
