Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen spent the weekend in Minneapolis.

Miss Donna Herington, who is a teacher in the Waukesha school system, returned there after spending the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Herington, and friends in the area. Miss Diane Herington, a student at WSU. Eau Claire, also spent the weekend here.

Mr. and Mrs. Einar Andersen of Mauston and Miss Emily Sorensen of Marshfield spent the weekend at the home of their mother, Mrs. Ann Sorensen.

Dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Alva Mertens on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mertens, Mrs. Veda Mertens, Mrs. Ellen Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Del Andrysack and family of Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hansen accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ed Slewski to Mequon, where they spent the weekend with their children.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil H. Hansen left Monday for a vacation trip to Seattle, Washington, to visit his sister. They will also visit friends and places of interest through the west.

Mrs. Phillis Wenzel went to Menomonie to visit her son Terry of the weekend, and also attended parents' weekend and other festivities held at Stout University.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen returned recently from St. Louis, Mo., where they visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Thierl and daughter.

Mr. and Mrs. William Fischer of Bloomington, Minn. spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost.

Miss Diane Miller, a student at WSU, River Falls, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. Harley Herington visited their sister-in-law, Mrs. John Petras, a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Sunday.

Robert Smasal fell from the hay mow at his farm home Wednesday of last week and was rushed to the hospital in Stanley. He is reported to have received many bruises and cuts, but no broken bones, and is now recuperating at his home.

Mr. Roy Ammentorp of Milwaukee visited the home of his mother, Mrs. Caroline Ammentorp on Sunday.
