A party was held Sunday afternoon, April 30th, 1967, at the Ervin Zelm home in Longwood (Clark Co., Wis., to celebrate the 90th birthday of Mrs. Zelm's father, Solomon Telin. Mr. Telin is an old time resident of the Owen area, having farmed in the Town of Hoard (Clark Co.) for many years. His wife passed away a year and a half ago. The couple had eight children. He is now making his home with a son, John, in Albia, Iowa, but makes an extended visit to Wisconsin regularly.

Mr. Telin is enjoying real good health, having an active mind, and spends much of his leisure time reading and visiting wwith friends.

Guests from out of town attending the birthday celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Telin of Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. ed Rady, Melrose Park, Ill.; Mrs. Scott Franklin and family, Addison, Ill.; Arvo Ryoti, Stone Park, Ill.; Mrs. Al Ericksmoen and daughter of Carpenterville, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Frahman and family of Riplinger; Sandy Zelm, a student at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and Jim Zelm, a student at Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire.
