The Badger Boys State and Badger Girls State representatives from Owen-Withee
High School for 1967 are Daniel Hynes and Shelbie Amacher. Both are members of
the Junior Class at Owen-Withee.
Dan has been a member of the FFA Chapter for three years, serving as Secretary
in 1966-67. Dan also won the State Farmer Degree in 1967, and is President of
the Wisconsin Junior Dairymen. He has been active in sports, participating in
football and wrestling for three years, and in track and baseball for one.
Shelbie has been active in band, cheerleading, Student Council, serving three
years in each of these activities. In addition, Sheblie has participated in
forensics, G.A.A., editor of the school newspaper, a member of the National
Honor Society, and for three years has been a twirler for the marching band.
