Ronald Auberg is back at work this week following an accident of a week ago, when he was thrown from a horse while riding it on his farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hakola of 29 Palms, California are visiting his brother Clifford at the home farm. They have been visiting relatives and friends in Ohio, Illinois and Michigan, and are going to visit others in Minnesota, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Wickenburg, Arizona while enroute home.

Miss Sandra Kangas returned to Waukegan, Ill. Sunday, after spending the week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kangas.

Parents of graduates, please telephone the Owen Enterprise or Mrs. John Blunck, Withee, with your news on receptions and dinner parties given O-W graduates, and news of guests and relatives who came from away for the exercises.

J.R. Barager and W.K. Doonan were business callers in Boscobel on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Haas and two children of Menasha spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Erickson.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gay and family enjoyed the weekend camping in their trailer at Mead Lake.

Elwin Powers underwent surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield Wednesday, May 24th, 1967, following three weeks of hospitalization, during which time he underwent test and medical treatment.

Mrs. Paul Miller of Marshfield spent the weekend at the H.D. Mauel Sr. home.

Mrs. Chauncey Bailey and children, Brenda and Ross of Racine, Mrs. Ray Rose and children, Connie and Brad of Waukesha, and Kathleen Thompson of Milwaukee were all home for Mother's Day at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Thompson. They also visited their sister Carole, Mrs. Glen Frane and family of Curtiss, who are moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Frane and sons, Scott, Steven and Kevin of Curtiss left Sunday morning for Colorado Spring, Colorado, where they plan to make their future home. Mrs. Frane is the former Carole Thompson.

Thursday morning Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Pabich drove W.J. Mahoney Sr. to Minneapolis, where eh boarded a plane later in the day, taking him to La Vegas, Nevada, where he was met by his brother. After a visit in Vegas they were going to his brother's home in California for a visit with a sister, also living in California. Mr. Mahoney expects to be gone two weeks.

The party of local fishermen that spent five days on a trip to Canada last week, returned home Thursday with a report of limt catch of lake trout, and fine weather. In the group were H.A. Wendt, E.M. Erickson, Celand Melbinger, L.E. Bulgrin, Owen; Swede Bruchert and Rod Misfeldt, Withee; and Frank and Leon Wnek of Thorp.

Wednesday last week the Leinenkugel Brewery of Chippewa Falls hosted a number of area distributors at an 'open house' party, given at their brewery in Chippewa Falls in honor of their 100th anniversary. Attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Krach, Owen; and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Zelm, Mr. and Mrs. Nibbs Bruchert, Eddie Hryniewicki, and Melvin of Withee.
