Rahn, Fred J. (18 DEC 1898 – 1 JUL 1967)

Funeral services were conducted for Fred J. Rahn, 68, at two o'clock yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, July 5th, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Curtiss. Rev. Roger Tellock officiated, with burial being made at Pine Hill Cemetery. Six nephews served as pallbearers.

Mr. Rahn died Saturday, July 1st, 1967 at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, where he had been hospitalized for five days.

He was born December 18, 1898 in the town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.). On June 8, 1932 he and the former Hannah Hamm were married in a ceremony performed at Colby. The couple then farmed in the town of Hoard until his retirement three years ago, when he suffered a heart attack.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Miss Elsie Rahn, Osceola, Indiana; and Mrs. Emma Young, Joliet, Illinois; and numerous nephews and nieces.
