Hennes, Joseph A.

UNITY – Funeral Services for Joseph A. Hennes, 16, son of Wilfred and Gayle Hennes, Route 1, will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby.

The Rev. Raymond J. Pedretti is to officiate. Burial Will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. at Rux/Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, where a parish rosary will be said at 8 that night.

The youth died in a one-car accident Saturday morning in the town of Hull, 3 ½ miles east of Colby.

A junior at Colby High School, he was born Nov. 20, 1963 in Wood County. He farmed with his parents and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by seven sisters, Mrs. Craig (Cathy) Binning of Unity, Mrs. Gerry (Mary) Jochimsen of Dorchester, Mrs. Dean (Jean) Skidmore of Wausau, Lori, Connie and Dawn, all at home, and Carol of Madison; and a brother, William of Unity.

Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Brzezinski of Edgar.
