Buchholz, Louisa P. (11 NOV 1881 – 04 SEP 1967)

Mrs. August Buchholz, 85, Curtiss died at 12:15 a.m. Monday at the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen where she had been since Aug. 22.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Curtiss with Rev. Roger Tellock officiating. Burial will be made in the Colby Cemetery.

The former Louisa Pauline Schulte was born Nov 11, 1881, in Unity and received her education in the Unity and Colby public schools. Her marriage to August Buchholz took place May 30, 1906 at Colby.

After their marriage the couple lived in the Colby area until 1922, then at Ladysmith and Holcomb until 1941, when they moved to a farm near Curtiss.

Mrs. Buchholz was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Curtiss.

In addition to her husband, survivors are a daughter, Miss Anita Buchholz, Curtiss; two sons, Melvin Buchholz, Holcombe; and Edgar Buchholz, Cornell; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two step great- grandsons.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, three brothers and three sisters.
