Johnson, Frances L. (Perlock) (19 NOV 1926 - 17 AUG 2012)

Frances L. Johnson, 85, Edgar died Friday, August 17, 2012 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospices at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar. The Rev. Joy Nelson Jeffers will officiate.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Edgar Funeral Home.

She was born November 19, 1926 in the town of McMillan, daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Mark) Perlock. On September 12, 1945 she married George W. Johnson at St. Adelbert Catholic Church, town of McMillan. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1968.

Frances was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in the town of Wien. Before moving to the town of Wien she lived in Wood County for more than 20 years. Some of her favorite pastimes included sewing, cooking, gardening, baking and canning. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Bill (Cindy) Johnson, Vesper, Bob Johnson, Edgar, Bonnie (John Hilmershausen) Bunkelman, Edgar and Tina (Brian) Raasch, Colby, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Johnson, three brothers, John, Charles and Paul Perlock, one sister Tony Flatoff, a step grandson, Kurt and great great grandson, Kaidyn.

A memorial has been established in Frances's name.
