Riehle, Charles "Chuck" R. Jr. (11 JUL 1940 - 6 JUN 2011)

Charles "Chuck" R. Riehle Jr., 70, Edgar, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at his home.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. The Very Reverend Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.

He was born July 11, 1940 in Milwaukee, son of the late Charles Sr. and Theresa (Kulas) Riehle. On February 20, 1965, he married Grace Kurszewski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. She survives.

Charles was a life-long farmer. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed all sports, especially bowling and also enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include, his wife, Grace Riehle, Edgar; nine children, Richard Riehle, Annette (Allen) Rausch, both of Athens, Ronald (Jill) Riehle, Edgar, Renee (Rick) Wesolowski, Marshfield, Randy (Barb) Riehle, Athens, Roy (Inna) Riehle, Rachel Riehle, Raymond (Tanya) Riehle, all of Wausau and Amy Riehle, Yulee, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and four siblings, Chester Riehle, Athens, Elaine (Joe) Bunczak, Rosholt, Evie Nienhuis, Wausau and Wendy (Sandra) Strausau, Austin, Tex.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brittany.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Family Catholic Church.
