Paul, Hilda R. (Knetter) (8 JUN 1923 - 2 JUL 2009)

Hilda R. Paul, 86, Edgar, died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Robert Streveler will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of services all at the church.

She was born June 8, 1923 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late Anton and Lottie Knetter. On October 3, 1942 she married Harold Paul in Lincoln, Nebraska. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her six children, Jean (Carl) Totzke, Edgar, Bob (Kay) Paul, Wausau, Mary (Jerry) Mueller, Edgar, Fred Paul, Edgar, Jim Paul, Wausau and Joan (Jeff) Seliger, Marathon; 15 grandchildren, Cathy, Jeff, Jeremy, Anthony, Tracey, Todd, Tara, Sheila, Mark, Andrea, Michael, Jennifer, Jimmy, Paul, and Mitchell; 10 great grandchildren, Matthew, Brienna, Cameron, Grayson, Shelby, Lindsay, Zach, Tyler, Hunter and Alex.

Besides her parents and husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane, four brothers, Anton, Ed, Clarence and Bob, four sisters, Bena, Theresa, Mary and Clara.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, is in charge of arrangements.
