Klehr, Grace E. (10 DEC 1927 – 7 DEC 2016)

Grace E. Klehr, age 88, of Unity, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Colonial Center in Colby.

In honoring Grace's wishes, no public services will be held. Committal services will be held privately at a later date.

Grace was born December 10, 1927 in Milwaukee, the daughter of William and Annemarie (Bittner) Tetzlaff. After graduating high school in 1946 she worked in a woolen mill near Grafton, WI. In December of 1950 she married Norbert John Klehr and later moved to the Town of Unity where they operated a dairy farm until their retirement. Sadly, her husband Norbert passed away June 27, 1995.

Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting, making beautiful quilts, and going dancing.

Survivors include her son Paul Klehr of Unity, her grandson Benjamin, along with other relatives and friends.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Nikki Ann, a son Norbert, and a brother George.

Her family extends their appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Colonial Center in Colby for the wonderful care their mother received.
