Saturday night friends and relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Seefeldt for a housewarming party.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fischer accompanied Herman Neuman and son, Kenneth, and Mrs. Ida Neuman of Spencer, to Stratford Sunday, where they attended confirmation services and were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Landwehr in honor of their son, Jeff, who was a member of the Class. Jeff is the great-grandson of the Fischers.

Mr. and Mrs. Arman Peterson and Joann spent the weekend visiting their son, Robert, at Kenosha.

Mrs. Sophie Bauman, Miss Amy Leonhard and George Schroder, all of Chicago, spent he weekend visiting Bertha Peterson at her home at Curtiss.

Mrs. Bertha Peterson recently returned from San Francisco, where she had spent four months visiting her sons, Orland and Frank.

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Hainzlsperger have received word of the birth of a granddaughter, Michelle Marie Myer, on May 17. The baby's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meyer of Milan, Ill. This is their first child.

Gustave Carlson entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on Sunday and underwent surgery on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Korntved went to Chetek Saturday to get Mrs. Dale Aderhold and children, who are spending the week here.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, Milwaukee, spent the weekend at the Edwin Slen home. Mrs. Johnson returned to Milwaukee Sunday, but Mr. Johnson will spend the week here.

Paul Van Zandt and Miss Ellen Loughead, Cedar Rapids, Ia., were weekend visitors at the home of Ellen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Loughead.

A layette shower was held at the home of Mrs. T.E. Loughead in honor of Mrs. James Suckow, Spencer, Saturday night. Guests were from Colby, Spencer, Medford and the Unity area.

Mrs. Harvey Garfoot, Madison, came Thursday to spend the weekend at the home of Mrs. George Cook and Mrs. Clarence Ravy. Saturday visitors were Mrs. Dorothy Strickland, Stoughton, and Misses Ann and Jenny Williamson of Mt. Horeb. Sunday visitors were Grant Herrick and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peterson of Curtiss.
