Local area students receiving associate degrees or diplomas at the annual North Central Technical Institute commencement in Wausau Sunday, June 1, 1969, were Allen Schultz, route 1, Abbotsford, welding major, and Dennis Pecher, route 1, Abbotsford, credit major. Pecher was one of 16 students receiving an outstanding graduate award. Also among the graduates was Richard Strathman, Colby, an automotive major.

Unity graduates at North Central were Eldred Suckow, an accounting major, and Lilly Marlene Neuman, route 1, Unity, a secretarial science major.

Linda Sommer, route 1, Curtiss, received her diploma for successful completion of the clerk-typist program.
