….chose an A-line gown of white organza. The slightly fitted sheer bodice was accented by Alencon lace and a cowl neckline. The sleeves of Alencon lace were finished at the elbow with a wide ruffled band of organza. The attached chapel length train was also accented with Alencon lace. The headpiece was an organza bow, enhanced by pearled appliques of Alencon lace, which held a 3-tiered shoulder length veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, glomelias, and trenched mums.

The maid of honor, Miss Judy Tormoen, Green Bay, friend of the bride, wore a floor length sheath gown of lime green chiffon over lemon. Tiny satin green buttons and a satin cowl neckline accented the front of the dress, while a long satin green train adorned the back.

Her headpiece was a wide satin bow with a short 3-tiered veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of gold, rust and apricot pompon mums accented with green ribbon streamers.

Similar gowns were also worn by the bridesmaids, Miss Jo Ann Polnaszek, sister of the bride, Miss Anne Layden, sister of the groom, and Miss Kathy Mohancy, friend of the bride.
