White, Ellen E. (4 AUG 1931 – 31 DEC 2016)

Ellen E. White, 85, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, in Marshfield. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 12, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 205 E. 3rd St., Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 E. Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, and again one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Ellen Pscheidt was born on Aug. 4, 1931, in Neillsville, the daughter of Roman and Beulah (nee Savage) Pscheidt. She attended Neillsville schools. On Feb. 21, 1948, Ellen married the love of her life, George White, in Neillsville. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Marshfield. In her spare time she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities, a challenging game of cribbage, and traveling. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Those who knew Ellen best will miss her sense of humor, her thoughtfulness, and her love of bingo.

Ellen is lovingly survived by her children: Thomas (Marcella) White of Dell City, Okla., Anna (Ken) Olm of Marshfield, Philip (Cheryl) White of Spencer, and Joseph (Jennifer) White of Lake City, Minn.; her grandchildren: Patty (John) Vanek, Jeremy (Kelly) White, Matt (Angie) White, Michael White, Sam White, Ben (Amy) White, Karl (Becky) Olm, Sara (Mike) Wolf, Nick (Laurel) White, Stephanie (Korey) Rottscheit, Charlie White and Mason White; and her great-grandchildren: Brendan, Gracie, Camden, Greyson, Mattison, Allison, Emily, Rachel, Easton and Karley. She will truly be missed.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents: Roman and Beulah; her husband: George; her brother: Roman Pscheidt Jr.; and her great-granddaughter: Evelyn Olm.
