Ivaska, Anna (Trojan) Vavra (28 AUG 1875 - 13 DEC 1967)

Anna Trojan was born in Czecho-Slovakia on Aug. 28, 1875, and came to the United States when she was 7 years of age. She had lived in the Westboro area for 37 years.

Her first marriage to Anton Vavra took place on Sept. 29, 1930 in Milwaukee. Anna was married to widower Joseph Ivaska Sr., in Medford, on April 19, 1945.

She died at the Eagleton Nursing Home at Bloomer, where she lived for the past year. Her husband, who is 94, survives her. He resides at the Eagleton Nursing Home, also.

Services for Mrs. Joseph Ivaska Sr., 92, of Bloomer, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ruesch Funeral Home. The Rev. David Elleman, pastor of the Goodrich Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be made at Mt. Olive cemetery in Westboro.

Other survivors are two stepsons, Joseph Ivaska II, Lakeland, FL; George Ivaska, Berwyn, IL; a daughter-in-law, Bernice Ivaska, Chippewa Falls; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
