Bayuk, Beverly Jean (Marriage – 29 June 1974)

Milwaukee will be the home for Mr. and Mrs. Rodney F. Lautenbach, whose wedding trip took them to the West Coast and to Mexico. The new Mrs. Lautenbach, the former, Miss Beverly Jean Bayuk, is the daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bayuk, Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lautenbach, Marshfield, are the groom’s parents.

The couple exchanged wedding vows in a 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony performed June 29 at Brookfield Lutheran Church, Brookfield, by Pastor David H. Parsch. Leonard Krubsack played organ music and provided guitar accompaniment for soloist Joan Wuckhart.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza styled with shepherdess sleeves, a V-neckline, natural waistline, and a flowing skirt sweeping into a chapel train. Tiny pearl clusters accentuated the Alencon lace appliques on the bodice and sleeves. Her cathedral length veil, edged with matching lace, fell from a Juliet headpiece. She carried a cascade of apricot and white roses, white carnations, and baby’s breath.

Miss Denise Dettmer, Milwaukee, was matron of honor, with Miss Debra Laib, Kenosha, Miss Glenda Lautenbach, Marshfield, and Mrs. Nancy Dineen, Milwaukee, as bridesmaids. Their apricot empire, A-line gowns with white eyelet bodices, and dotted voile skirts were complimented by white picture hats, tied with apricot ribbons. Each carried a white basket of apricot roses and yellow and white daisy mums with baby’s breath.

Kathy Ormond as flower girl was similarly attired. Michael Ormond served as page.

Acting as bestman was Fred Dettmer, Milwaukee. Groomsmen were Edward Brux, Greenwood, James Paun, Rockford, Il., and Dale Dineen, Milwaukee. Performing ushering duties were Franklin Bayuk, Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca., and Gary Paun, Rockford.

A reception, dinner, and dance were held at Gile’s Leilani, Brookfield.

The bride, a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High School, is a rating clerk for a Milwaukee insurance company. Her husband is employed as a mechanical designer for a Milwaukee corporation. He graduated in 1968 from Marshfield Senior High School and in 1970 from North Central Technical Institute, Wausau.
