Lissner, Eldora B. (Duesing) (16 FEB 1921 - 23 NOV 2012)

Eldora B. Lissner, 91, of 135 S. Gibson Street, Medford, a City of Medford Resident, passed away on November 23, 2012, at the Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center, Medford where she had resided for the past 2 months and under the care of Hope Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 26 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey, with Rev. Randy Jeppesen officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Whittlesey.

VISITATION: 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 26 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey

Eldora was born on February 16, 1921 at Medford, to Irvin and Mary (Loeffler) Duesing. She attended Hillcrest Grade School in the Medford area.

On September 29, 1939, she was married to Lawrence B. Lissner. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1987. Lawrence and Eldora took over the family dairy farm when his folks died. She was also a homemaker where she raised her daughter Marjorie. She enjoyed fishing, sewing and gardening. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey.

She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Wirta of Mequon, and Tammy Raeck of Mequon; siblings, Gerald Duesing of Medford and Norma (Walter) Anderson of Medford.

Eldora was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence B. Lissner on June 23, 1987, parents, Irvin and Mary (Loeffler) Duesing; granddaughter, Susan Sader; siblings Melvin, Leslie and Marion Duesing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Eldora’s family to be designated at a future date.

Hemer Funeral Home of Medford and Rib Lake is assisting the family with arrangements.
