Seefeldt, Emil C. (25 MAY 1892 – 07 DEC 1969)

Emil C. Seefeldt, 77, a resident of Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.), passed away at Victory Memorial Hospital on Sunday.

He was born at Peshtigo, Wisconsin on May 25, 1892, the son of Fred and Rose Seefeldt. He grew up in Peshtigo and in 1915 moved to the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area, where he farmed for a time. On March 14, 1917 he was united in marriage to Elma Bratz in Withee. After his marriage he farmed in the town of Worden (Clark Co.) until 1946; then moved to Stanley, where he worked at the Stanley Company until the time of his retirement in 1956. His wife passed away on September 12, 1967.

Survivors are two sons, Fred of Stanley, and Hoard of Oakes, North Dakota; one daughter, Mrs. Orin (Pearl) Olson of Stanley; three brothers, Otto of Hortonville, Walter of Green Bay and Edward of Coleman; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers.
