Jeras Anton Jr. "Tony" (1946? – 29 MAR 2017)

On March 29, 2017, God made Anton “Tony” Jeras Jr. (formerly of Greenwood) an offer he couldn’t refuse and freed him from his broken body. This offer includes deer camp with 30-point bucks galore, trophy muskies and all the golf balls he needs.

At the age of 70, Tony was reunited with his Mom, Margaret; Dad, Anton Sr.; and sister, Jean. He left instructions for his daughter Brianne and all his loved ones to celebrate his life’s journey, which is now complete. A celebration of Tony’s life will take place on Friday, April 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Visitation will take place from noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be established at a later date.

Tony served in the U.S. Army and retired from the printing paper industry.

In addition to his daughter, Brianne (Jamie), he is survived by his ex-wife, Karen, who provided support to the very end; his siblings: Chuck (JoAnn) Klotz; Bob Jeras; George Jeras and JoAnn Jeras; his nieces: Janel (Sanders), Jacqui (Mike), and Stephanie (Joe); his great-nieces: Shanan and Aurora; his great-nephews, Shane, Ashton, Sanders Jr. and Brice; and Ricky, Jess and a million relatives and friends, including Terry (Barb), Dean (Marsha), and Bill (Chris).
