Rindfleisch, James A. (8 AUG 1941 – 19 APR 2017)

James Albert Rindfleisch, age 75, of Spencer, WI, passed into the loving arms of our Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at House of the Dove in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church, B3750 State Hwy 13, Spencer. Pastor Rebekah Tarras will officiate. Visitation will be held at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 201 S. LaSalle Street, Spencer, on Sunday, April 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again one hour before the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at West Spencer Cemetery.

Jim was born August 8, 1941, the son of Ervin and Milda (Luepke) Rindfleisch in Spencer. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1959. On November 29, 1963, he was married to Shirley Feit. They later divorced.

In his spare time, Jim enjoyed traveling with his "honey" Mary, especially on bus trips to South Dakota, Nashville, Branson, and various casinos. His favorite trip was a cruise to Alaska. He and Mary made many friends in their travels. In past years he enjoyed ice fishing trips to Lake of the Woods, and hosting the annual deer hunting crew, who enjoyed eating bowls of "Diamond Jim's" homemade chili and playing endless games of Sheepshead. Jim loved watching all sports, especially the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and NASCAR - if there was a game on TV he was watching it. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren Ethan, Ava, Jack, Ivan and Ashton, and also his "adopted" grandchildren Megan, Michelle, Beth, Emmy, Robert, Ron, and Rebecca. Those who knew him best will miss his sense of humor and his giving nature.

Jim enjoyed his tenure as a truck driver for Land O' Lakes for 45 years where he was affectionately known as "Lumpy". He was proud of many driving awards he received, especially for driving two million accident-free miles, and for being their first driver to achieve 25 years of accident-free driving. Jim was a member of Local Union 446.

Jim is lovingly survived by his children Randy (Gina) of Mosinee, Terry (significant other Gina Backus) of Wausau, and John of Appleton, and his "honey" Mary Wuske, of Berlin; siblings Gloria Seefeld of Spencer, and Eugene (Sally) Rindfleisch of Spencer; his "adopted" children Bill (Connie) Wuske, Deb (Chuck) Marvin, and Val (Scott) Colts; and his grandchildren who will miss him immensely. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Virgil Seefeld.

The family would like to thank all of the many doctors, nurses and CNA's who have given Jim care in recent years, especially the staff on 6th floor at St Joseph's Hospital, Wells Nature View and House of the Dove in Marshfield.
