Randolph A. Wicks, 58, of the town of Spencer died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in the emergency room at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Wicks was born April 4, 1950, in Marshfield, the son of Francis and Ethel (Bowls) Wicks. Following his schooling, Randolph served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Randolph was united in marriage on June 22, 1981, in Green Bay to the former Faith M. Miicke.

Mr. Wicks was a mechanic for the Birdseye Auto Salvage in Green Bay.

Randolph is survived by his wife, Faith Wicks, town of Spencer; children, Christopher Wicks, Black River Falls, Andrew Wicks, Spencer, Francis Wicks, Spencer, Keith Wicks, Thorp, Christopher Wicks, Medford, Randy Wicks Jr., Stetsonville, Brian Wicks, Thorp; and 10 grandchildren.

He is further survived by brothers, Rick Gable, Loveland, Colo., Dennis (Ann) Gable, Marshfield, Mike (Pricilla) Gable, Chiefland, Fla., Keith Hackbarth of California; sisters, Sandy Statz, Mount Horeb, Debbie (Bud) Matthews, Chiefland, Fla., and Dawn (Henry) Weister, Marshfield.

Randolph A. Wicks, 58, of the town of Spencer died unexpectedly Wednesday morning Feb. 4, 2009, in the Emergency Room at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Wicks was born April 4, 1950, in Marshfield, the son of Richard and Marie L. (Vail) Meyers and was later adopted by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Ethel (Boles) Wicks. He graduated from Edgar High School. Following his schooling Randolph served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

On June 22, 1981, in Green Bay, Randolph was united in marriage to the former Faith M. Miicke.

Mr. Wicks was a mechanic for the Birdseye Auto Salvage in Green Bay.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, Nascar and working on cars.

Randolph is lovingly survived by his wife, Faith Wicks, town of Spencer; children, Christopher Wicks, Black River Falls, Andrew Wicks, Spencer, Francis Wicks, Spencer, Keith Wicks, Thorp, Christopher Wicks, Medford, Randy Wicks Jr., Stetsonville, Brian Wicks, Thorp; and 10 grandchildren.

He is further survived by four brothers and three sisters, Richard Wicks, Loveland, Colo., Keith Hackbarth of California, Sandy Statz, Mount Horeb, Dawn (Henry) Weister, Marshfield, Denis (Ann) Gabel, Marshfield, Debra (Bud) Matthews, Chiefland, Fla., and Mike (Priscilla) Gabel, Chiefland, Fla.
