Due to the sudden death of Don Warner last Saturday, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)
suddenly finds itself without a mayor.
On check this problem with Dick Adler, City Council President, we were informed
the Council may appoint an acting mayor until the next city election, which will
be next April. At that time a mayor will be elected for a one year term to fill
the unexpired term of Don Warner.
Being president of the Council, Dick Adler will be acting mayor until the new
appointment is made.
It is expected the council will act on the matter at their next council meeting,
which will be in September.
