Redig, Mary Ann (1918 – 5 OCT 1972)

Mary Ann Redig, 54, Rt. 2, Spencer, died at 11 p.m. on October 5, 1972 at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at Rinka Funeral Home Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), with Rev. William Humlie officiated, with burial in the West Spencer Cemetery.

The former Mary Ann Buss was married to Elmer Redig Sr. on April 30, 1938 at Spencer. She received her education at the Green Grove School, and has lived in the Loyal area all her life.

Mary Ann Redig is survived by her husband, Elmer Redig Sr., Clark County Hospital, Owen, and seven daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Waldhauser, Loyal, Mrs. Wallace (Donna) Bauer, Spencer, Mrs. Theodore (Lorna) Mueller, Spencer, Mrs. Huber (Darlene) Loechler, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Jerry (Joyce) Davis, Chandler, N.C., Mrs. Richard (Sharin) Engevold, Greenwood, and Cheryl at home; four sons, Elmer Jr., Loyal, Arvin, Houston, Teas, Orin, Spencer, and Alan at home; two brothers, Oscar Buss, Owen and Harry Buss, Manitowoc, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Lindekugel, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Harry (Rosie) Kopp, Curtiss, and thirty grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ina Buss, a set of twins, one daughter, one sister, and one brother.

Pallbearers for the funeral service were Robert Buss, John Kopp, Tim Schmidt, Duane Ludwig, Alber Mueller, and Frank McVean.
