An Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident was among 11 students graduating from the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Milwaukee on June 29, 1969.

Miss Nancy Jean Rowe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byrl Rowe, 512 North Street, Owen, received her nursing diploma during ceremonies at the Mount Tabor United Church of Christ in Milwaukee.

Dr. Helen L. Bunge, Dean of the School of Nursing, University of Wisconsin in Madison, will deliver the commencement address, entitled "Looking to the Future."

Miss Rowe received her diploma and pin in a ceremony conducted by the Rev. Albert G. Gonser, D.D., president of the hospital's board of directors.

The Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing was organized in 1917. More than 1,100 registered nurses have graduated from the three year diploma program since that time.
