Walsdorf, Florence (31 MAR 1889 – 4 JAN 1970)

Mrs. Florence Walsdorf, 80, a native of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at Bradenton, Florida Hospital on January 4, 1970. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 7, at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Bradenton, Florida. Interment was made in the Skyway Memorial Garden, Bradenton, Florida.

Florence Kathleen Wagner was born March 31, 1889 at Thorp. She helped her father in the print shop, also clerked in the post office. As a young girl she taught school in Reedsburg. On June 15, 1914 she was united in marriage at Thorp to Joseph A. Walsdorf, who preceded her in death in 1960. After residing in Thorp for some time, they moved to Milwaukee, and then in 1955 they moved to Florida, where they retired.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Gretchen Naomi (Wagner) Peters of Okomos, Michigan.

Attending the funeral from away were: Mr. and Mrs. John G. Bogumill, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Clarence Buhlman, St. Petersburg, Fla., Florence Wagner, St. Cloud, Fla., Ralph Dunharn, St. Cloud, Fla., Kenneth Peters and Jerry Peters, Okomos, Michigan.
