A family gathering was held Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stelter in honor of the 85th birthday of Mr. Louis Pagel Sr. Those present for the occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dudansky and Gerie, Mr. and Mrs. John Pagel of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Pagel Sr. and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pagel and Paula, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leskinen, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Leskinen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lenny Leskinen and son of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Groetteum and family of Coon Rapids, Mrs. Bill Berg and son of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Vircks and son, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Herrick and family of Boyd, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Pagel and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn, Mrs. Leora Graski and family, Miss Mary Pagel and Mrs. Alice Danielewicz. Mr. Pagel received birthday greetings via telephone from two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Luer of Chicago and Mrs. Julie Brill of Madison.

Mrs. Grace Boardman received birthday phone calls on her 80th birthday from her sons, Roger Boardman from Montesano, Washington, and Donald Boardman of California.

Mr. Robert Blazel of Milwaukee visited Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Bauer on Saturday.

Mrs. Ed Berdal and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Berdal and daughter Natasha of Ashland attended the funeral of Tina Kenny of Pales Hills, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Papierniak entertained Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cattanach and sons of Eau Claire on Saturday. Bob Jr. was home from the Naval Academy at Annapolis on spring leave.
