Marine Lieutenant David A. Wirtala, son of Mrs. Vernola Wirtala of route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), departed Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, South Carolina, with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 333 for Naval Air Station, Key West, Florida.

Flying the supersonic “Phantom” aircraft, the squadron will be fulfilling a Second Marine Aircraft Wing requirement.
