Krupa, Nick J. (24 JUL 1908 – 2 SEP 1970)
Nick Joseph Krupa, resident of route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died at St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, September 2, 1970, at 3 p.m. He had been in
the hospital one and one-half weeks.
He was born in the Town of Thorp, Clark County, July 24, 1908, the son of the
late Andrew and Julia Krupa. He lived in Thorp Township, and on September 17,
1929 married Bernice Klewicki in St. Hedwig’s Church in Thorp. They then moved
to Chicago and lived there until 1942. They later returned to the Town of Taft
(Chippewa Co.), near Thorp, and lived there since. He worked at Foremost Dairies
and also farmed.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Vernon of Chippewa Falls; four brothers,
John of Cornell, Louis of Gilman, Frank of Orlando, Florida, and two
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and two
brothers.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Junction Church Saturday at 10 a.m.
Interment was made in the church cemetery. Father Andrew Andrzejewski
officiated.
Pallbearers were: Stanley Blasczyk, Ed Blasczyk, John Holewinski Jr., Frank
Bruha, Walter Horounziak, and Ed Nowak.
