Opelt, Courtney Denise (Marriage – 4 August 2017)
Courtney Denise Opelt and Sterling Joseph Backaus were married Aug. 4, 2017, at
Our Lady of Peace Church in Marshfield by Father Eric Berns.
The bride is the daughter of Rollin and Gail Opelt of Neillsville. The groom is
the son of Eric and Tammy Backaus and Julia Backaus.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Neillsville High School and Chippewa
Valley Technical College. The bride is employed as a respiratory therapist at
Meriter Hospital in Madison. The groom is employed as a detailer at Endres
Manufacturing in Waunakee.
They currently reside in Madison.
