Cooper, Budelia “Bud” M. (Morey) (27 AUG 1940 - 4 NOV 2017)

Budelia “Bud” M. Cooper, 77, Cornell, passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at the Cornell Area Care Center.

Along with her twin sister, Bud was born Aug. 27, 1940, to Herbert and Elsie Morey. After graduating high school in Necedah, Bud attended UW-La Crosse for nursing, but graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Silver Lake College.

She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, crafting and making doll clothes. She eventually opened her own small business. Bud was also known for her love of animals.

She is survived by two sons – Robert (Angie) Farrell, Holcombe, and Jeff and Stephanie Cooper, Stevens Point; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; twin sister – Cordelia, sisters – Ginny and Armonia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband – Larry Cooper; parents and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 10, at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, with Deacon Dennis Rivers officiating. Interment will be in the Estella Cemetery.

A memorial visitation will be one hour prior to the services Friday, at the funeral home.
