Kozlowski, Jane (19 February 1917 – 7 September 1974)

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Jane (Mc Auley) Kozlowski, 57, a former Granton, and Thorp High School teacher.

Her death followed an illness of several months.

Funeral services were conducted by her son, The Rev. Daniel Kozlowski, pastor of St. Peters Catholic Church in Stevens Point, from St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel McAuley, Mrs. Kozlowski was born February 19, 1917, in Eau Claire. As a young lady she taught in several central Wisconsin school systems, the last being at Granton, where she spent 11 years.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters. In addition to Rev. Fr. Kozlowski, the sons are: Richard Kozlowski, address unknown; and Jack Kozlowski, at home. Daughters are Mrs. Allen (Mary) Jacobson of Amherst; Katherine and Betty, both at home.

Burial was made in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery at Milladore.
