Yvonne Marie Cranford, Rt. 1, Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cranford, Taft, California, and Gary William Schmitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Schmitz, Rt. 1, Granton, were married at 11:30 am. Saturday, June 16, 1973 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Father Berger performing the nuptial mass.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Music was furnished by Sharon Schoonover, Jody Schoonover, Diane Anderegg, and Judy Zettler.

For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of white satin, empire style, with puffed sleeves and French lace cuffs and long sleeves. She had a three teardrop veil trimmed with lace, with pearl headpiece. She carried white and pink roses with baby's breath, and ivy green background.

Meg Jungbluth, Granton, was maid of honor, and Miss Jane Schmitz, Spencer, and Miss Susan Tesmer, Marshfield, were bridesmaids.

Ralph Jungbluth, Granton, was best man, and groomsmen were Warren Tesmer and Steve Schultz, Chili.

Eldred Tesmer and Bud Schmitz were ushers.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Eagles Hall in Marshfield.

Miss Cranford was a 1973 graduate of Taft Union High School, and her husband is a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School.

The couple will be at home at rural Granton, where he is engaged in farming.
