Siem, Luke D. (1 DEC 1987 - 15 DEC 2017)

Luke D. Siem 30 of Ladysmith; died on Friday; December 15th, 2017 in Cancun, Mexico.

He is survived by his mother Patricia of Tony; 2 brothers and 4 sisters: Dennis of Mosinee, Jeremy & Jennifer of Spooner, Nicole & Jason Gorman of California, Michal & Chris Ellwanger of Glen Flora, Suzanne & William Cromwell and Steffani Unterschuetz - all of Ladysmith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 at the First Church of Christ in Ladysmith with Pastor Greg Welke and Jason Gorham officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith.

Luke's family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Tuesday, December 26th at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and for an hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

Luke Daniel Siem, 30, of Ladysmith died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 in Cancun, Mexico.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1987 in Eau Claire to Roger and Patricia (Straight) Siem.

Luke had many interests but especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing on various softball, volleyball, and bowling leagues with friends. He lived life to the fullest and is known for his ready smile, sense of humor, and red cheeks. After high school, Luke worked at Jeld-Wen for 9 years before moving on to Clearwater Paper where he worked as a DIP operator.

Luke is survived by his mother, Patricia of Tony; his two brothers, Dennis Siem of Mosinee and Jeremy (Jennifer) Siem of Spooner; his four sisters Nicole (Jason) Gorham of California, Michal (Christopher) Ellwanger of Glen Flora, Suzanne (William) Cromwell of Ladysmith and Steffani (Jonathon) Unterschuetz of Ladysmith; his nieces and nephews, Ethan, Emily, Lance, Gideon, Taylor, Benjamin, Leah, Gabriella, Elijah, Kayelyn, Kylie and Alena; his dog, Copper; his former wife, Carolyn; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger, and his two brothers, Dale and Darrell.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec 27 at Church of Christ in Ladysmith. Visitation will be held at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec 26, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.

A brief burial service will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

A reception is planned immediately following the burial service at Church of Christ.
