Tireman, Darryl “Tink” (6 JUN 1940 - 30 DEC 2017)

Darryl “Tink” Tireman, age 77, of Dallas, Wis. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born on June 6, 1940 to Harvey and Lucille Tireman in the town of Maple Grove where he attended the Maple Grove Country School, walking there every day for class. He later graduated from Barron High School in 1958. He went on to attend a two-year short course at River Falls for agriculture and accounting. After graduating, he returned home to help his father on the farm.

On April 27, 1963, he was married to Beverly Huset at Dallas. Darryl hauled milk in the early 1960s, and he and Beverly purchased their own farm. They started their family and had a 29 year successful dairy farm operation before relocating to their home in Dallas in 1992.

Darryl’s other past accomplishments were driving school bus, serving as a Barron County Reserve Officer for 11 years, a side board member for the township, a large construction operator, a feed mill employee and truck stop attendant until retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed his John Deere Tractors and equipment. He liked to visit and joke around with neighbors and friends. He also loved his family pets and watching the wildlife.

Darryl’s greatest concern was for his family. He loved Beverly, his two girls and grandsons with all of his heart. He will be truly missed by his family.

Daryl is survived by his wife, Beverly, of 54 years; his daughters, Rochelle (Jim) Dusza of Weyerhaeuser and Rebecca Tireman of Rice Lake; his grandsons, Jesse and Jeremiah Slack, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Karl Tireman, father and mother-in-law: Ole and Lucille Huset, brother-in-law: Jim (June) Huset and their three girls: Linda, Debbie and Sheila Huset.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas with Rev. Heather Kistner officiating. Interment followed in the Dallas Cemetery.

Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes in Dallas and Cameron.
