After several years he returned to Rib Lake and bought a dairy farm. Lester and Marilyn worked hard throughout the years on the farm and were very proud of it, winning several quality awards. In 1995, Lester sold the farm and retired.

Lester loved his family dearly, and they were most important to him. He installed that love in his children by traveling to visit family on a weekly basis, and spending time with them whenever possible.

He was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. Lester loved his John Deere Model 620 tractor.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday February 24, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Father Otto Bucher will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
