Lulloff, Mr./Mrs. Bernard (Gold – 20 DEC 1970)

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lulloff, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Saturday evening, August 8, 1970 with a dance and open house at the Curtiss Village Hall, and Sunday afternoon, August 9, with a potluck picnic at Memorial Park.

The marriage of the former Martha Buss and Bernard Lulloff took place December 20, 1920 at Green Grove, with Pastor Wm. Huenmann officiating. Attendants at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lulloff Sr.

Mrs. Lulloff was born December 9, 1902 at Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), one of six children of Albert and Anna Buss. She attended Beehive School. Mr. Lulloff was born April 30, 1896, one of four children of Lewis and Carolina Lulloff. He attended Atwood School and served with the U.S. Army in 1918 – 1919. Mr. Lulloff served as clerk on the school board for six years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Lulloff are members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Colby, and Mrs. Lulloff is a member of the Ladies Aid.

The couple has seven children: Darlene (Mrs. Clarence Richards), Goodman, Wis.; Helen (Mrs. Fred Walz), Chattanooga, Tenn.; Arlyn, Arlington, Tenn.; Carmen, Germantown, Wis.; Vernard, James and Robert, all of Owen. The celebration was held at this time so that all the children would be able to attend. There are 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lulloff has one surviving sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Buss, Curtiss, and Mr. Lulloff has one surviving brother, Fred Lulloff Sr. of Owen.
